This dragon sculpture was made at a welding class I took at Snow Farm in Williamsburg, Massachusetts. It was made over the course of two days, along with a few smaller test objects. It is made of scrap metal from plant holders, burners, and screws and nails. I had a blast learning how to weld even though it was pretty nerve racking sometimes, being so close to heat and sparks. I worked with the instructor and the other students in the class, who were mostly older adults. However, they had never welded before either and it was nice to learn together. This structure now stands outside in my garden!
